Need to unwind a bit? Instead of running to catch the bus, unwind your fishing line and catch a kokanee and rainbow trout!

Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort can accommodate you in one of our 6 lake front rental cabins. All of the cabins look out over Puntzi Lake and offer you a peaceful and beautiful view. The cabins range in size from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms. Our lodging is comfortable and you will feel relaxed as you look through your front window. Our home is available for guests who prefer a bed and breakfast although prior arrangements must be made. Check on the main menu under accommodations to find a cabin that will be just right for you.

Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort also has a campground with 8 lakeside sites and 7 sites which are great for RVs that require pull-throughs. All of the campsites have fire pits and picnic tables as well as water and electric hook ups. Tenting is great with an unforgettable view of the lake from your tent. Camping is always fun at Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort. We have a central washroom with hot showers and flush toilets. There is a laundry room as well for your convenience.

Fishing for kokanee and rainbow trout is always a hit. Angling in this part of British Columbia will not disappoint you. For the fishermen, there is a screened fish house. We have boats and motors for rent. The rental motorboats come complete with lifejackets and paddles as well as a tank full of gas. We offer an 18 ft. pontoon boat to relax in while boating around the lake. There are also rental canoes and kayaks. We have good moorage and a good launch for putting your boat into the water. Instead of lining up at the grocery store for dinner, put a line out on the water and enjoy catching your dinner on beautiful Puntzi Lake!

There are endless trails for hiking, many of them through areas rarely touched by man. If you are going on a hike, it is imperative that you have a good map or GPS so you don't end up getting lost.

Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort has a restaurant which is by reservation only. You must prebook your meal. The food is good home cooking, sure to please!

We have a playground, horsehoe pits and a fenced in area for playing badminton, volleyball and other sports. We also have board games for your use as well as a library with books available to borrow. We have movie rentals as well

We enjoyed having hunters here last fall. The hunting for big game is good in this area. There are those who hunt game birds as well. We found out that hunts happen very early in the morning and last all day. We met a wonderful bunch of people during the hunting season in 2008 and look forward to the hunting groups in 2009. We have limited cabins for rent available at this time of year so book early.

Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort is in a beautiful area of British Columbia, Canada. It is located just 2 hours west of Williams Lake on Highway 20. Hwy 20 runs between Williams Lake and Bella Coola. The Cariboo and Chilcotin areas of British Columbia, Canada are known for being largely an untouched place. You won't see many cars on Highway 20 so relax and get in the spirit of the Chilcotin.
